Yorkshire Motorhomes With A Japanese Twist – In New Zealand!

Huddersfield, West Yorkshire-based motorhome conversion company Wellhouse Leisure has built an impressive reputation for high quality, compact van conversions in recent years. Their campervans are based on imported Japanese base vehicles and are designed to be suitable for everyday use as well as touring. Indeed, the company says that 85% of their customers use their Wellhouse campervans as primary transport.

The company currently sells more than 120 vehicles a year, all of which are sold fully converted to UK spec and with a one year warranty and RAC inspection certificate. Wellhouse will also advise on suitable insurance companies and provides vehicle and habitation servicing for its vehicles.

Wellhouse’s latest venture will see them exporting completed vans to New Zealand. While it might seem inefficient to export vehicles from Japan to the UK and then from the UK to New Zealand, Japansese van-based campers are extremely popular in the New Zealand (and Australian) markets and the quality of Wellhouse’s conversions is likely to win over new customers.

Wellhouse Leisure already has two vehicles on hire in New Zealand and will making more vehicles available later this year following the opening of a sales office in Christchurch.
