Motorhomers Help Support UK Economy
People who holiday in the UK in motorhomes, caravans and tents contribute up to £2bn per year to the economies of the areas they stay in – excluding campsite costs.
These figures, from a new survey by Halfords, show that the average daily expenditure for self-sufficient holidaymakers is £29 – mostly spent on food, drink and tourist attractions.
The survey highlighted just how popular motorhoming, camping and caravanning has become in recent years, with people of all generations choosing to enjoy the low cost and freedom this style of holiday offers.

hello fellow motorhomers i have traveled europe ,france spain portugal 6months at time no trouble free parking anywhere when useing respect and leaving as found others can also enjoy like ourselves but greed and stupidity without thought for others by washing campers waisting public water leaving rubbish emtying wc in schrubery ect any wonder we are thought wrongly off.
