Autotrail Forced to Wield Job Axe Again

Only weeks after its last round of redundancies, Grimsby-based luxury motorhome maker Autotrail has been forced to cut a further 53 jobs from its workforce.

Autotrail Managing Director Stuart Turpin told the Grimsby Telegraph that “high ticket price items have continued to prove challenging” leaving the company with no choice but to take this “very hard but realistic approach.”

Autotrail aren’t at the cheap end of the motorhome market and I suppose it’s no surprise its sales are suffering. Hopefully they will manage to stay afloat and avoid further job cuts.
